Cons
This company has pieced itself together by acquiring many smaller companies (15 in the last 10 years). There is very little cohesion and a noticeable lack of vision. It's currently [as of Feb. 2016] privately owned by a private equity firm that goes into companies, builds them up, and then flips them. The feeling that we are constantly be polished so we look pretty while systemic issues go ignored is prevalent. The phrase "that's not my job" gets said quite a bit. While there are many great people, there are also many not so great people in key positions, and even hard workers fall into the apathetic funk that makes up the Deltek culture.
