Pros

The ONLY pro to this job was when we had bonuses through AccuQuest, once WDH took over and changed them they became unattainable. They cut out several thousand dollars a year from us because the selling levels are so high. They also are in network with 3rd parties making it impossible to even get a good sales opportunity. The real kicker is that the hearing aids that are sold only cost them about $300/each. Even what we pay the manufacturer is only about $1200/pr and then they sell them between $2500-$7200. The aids are all the same they just cut off certain features for the lower tech levels. It's awful at how they price gouge, stay away from this company if you want to make money and not work yourself to death and feel like you're cheating those with a disability.

Pros

Good base pay and commissions. Not everyone is paid the same so be sure to negotiate.

Cons

District managers will single people out. I had 2 during my time there and they will micromanage but also disappear when you actually need their help. If your location is a top producer you can get away with anything. I’ve seen those offices not know how to mask during testing and not use Hearing life’s mandatory procedures and closing statements and managers will turn a blind eye. Yet if you are in a more remote and lesser producing clinic you will be required to record your every interaction with clientele and review with management and someone they deem a “leader.” To do well you really have to have an amazing patient care coordinator who fills up your schedule because like any sales it’s a numbers game. You also have to be careful who you talk you because it was the most gossipy company I have ever worked for.
