My total time at DP was a nightmare for the following reasons: 1. Discrimination 2. Micromanagement 3. No autonomy in the structure or culture of our classroom 4. No work life balance, we were encouraged to come in sick and/or put off other personal emergencies 5. Pay was deducted for leaving early, but not added for required late days 6. We did not have access to the building, required to buzz in as a guest 7. Lunch and planning periods were not given daily as promised by DP or even required by law 8. Teacher/staff input was not valued by leadership 9. Major school structural changes and staff departures were kept secret
