Cons
Very toxic, understaffed department and upper management was pure EVIL. For this to be a Billion dollar company , couldn’t believe there was such poor investment in employee resources and organizational structure. They think being productive is working off of a hundred different excel spreadsheets and word documents, while also creating a million different processes to do the most basic fundamental tasks. There was always a ton of work to do and you were either micromanaged or given little no direction at all. Upper management had no regard for human decency when it came to their communication and how they treated employees. Nasty emails were sent out and degrading, egotistical, god complex type meetings were setup only for employees be told in a very cold and condescending tone what’s being done wrong and being blamed for things that you have nothing to do with. Even if you do exactly what is being asked, down to the letter, something is still wrong with what you’ve done because clearly there is a deeper issue. It felt like working with kids in high school who were put in these positions and given a little power and it went to their heads. It was obvious leadership didn’t take any executive level management courses or leadership trainings on how to interact with employees because of the lack of compassion and respect that was shown on a daily basis. Let’s not forget the overwhelming amount of overtime, or feeling unsafe, unrealistic deadlines, being talked down to, and given unclear instruction on different projects. Oh and guess what else is too common of a theme at this company; massive layoffs and people abruptly quitting. There is a huge disconnect within this company and it starts with having the wrong individuals in positions where they are responsible for managing people.
