Pros

Decent pay, chance to promote within the company if you’re willing to relocate.

Cons

Super long hours, no work/life balance (although they love to preach it) promotions are based on sales numbers not knowledge. So an associate at a bigger store can easily be promoted quicker than a more experienced associate in a smaller market due to yearly sales, benefits are pretty bad, If a manager is fired it is the assistant managers job to work 7 days a week 12 hour days (excluding Sundays 5 hour day) until a manager is hired. This includes birth of a child. If the store has no cover you will have to be there if you’re a manager. Management believes and does what they want. Company enforces red poster policy on all employees (sexual harassment, equal employment, ect) unless of course you’re a district manager. If you’re a district manager it is ok for you to say what you want.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry you feel this way, but you should know that we have never deleted a review and if you knew how Glassdoor works, you would know that is impossible to do. We read and respond to these reviews regularly. In addition, we have many much longer term employees at the store level than 8 years that would disagree with you on many of your points. We can agree to disagree on many of your points, but if you would like to discuss any of these, please feel free to reach out to me at 303-566-8172 as we are always striving for a strong culture.
