Poor Culture and Climate; little support to schools - Anonymous employee Denver Public Schools Employee Review

Superintendent shows little to no interaction with staff- does not communicate or follow through. Seems to only want to be there to climb the political ladder. Cabinet is highly ineffective (in particular, the Chief of Talent) and the Superintendent has surrounded himself with "yes people". It is rumored he does not like being challenged or collaborating with people. His actions trickle down to the teams below him, and there are many ineffective leaders and damaging practices that impact schools.
