Pros

This place seems like it has good work life balance. In my particular position you are expected to put in exactly 40 hours - no more and no less. Good benefits once you get a full time position. A lot of great people work at Denver Water. My boss was great though I had heard mixed reviews about others. Most people have been there forever because it is a good place to work.

Cons

Biggest con is Denver Water needs to do better acquiring new young talent. The intern technicians get to do some cool stuff and the intern bosses are great. Problem is the interns generally don't get hired full time after their internship.

Pros

Incredible work environment and organizational culture.

Cons

As a temporal intern, it was difficult to get to the office if you do not have a car.

Pros

Really great mission. Not as cutthroat as other companies I’ve worked for. Cares about employees and structure of organization makes it a government org that doesn’t suck money for endless projects.

Cons

Pay for entry level employees feels low.
