Good company culture, low pay per industry standards - Application Developer Dev Technology Group Employee Review

Thank you for taking time to write a Glassdoor review. We appreciate the feedback. I wanted to address your comment about "low pay per industry standards." We actually do pay according to industry standards and benchmark our salaries off of ERI Salary Assessor and the SHRM DC Salary Survey both data sets are based on DC area companies. This is in addition to the market data our talent acquisition team gathers as they are talking to candidates. If you defined "industry" as the greater IT industry and compare us to Microsoft, Google, Capital One, then we do pay lower than those companies. We do not consider those companies our competitors and could never match the salaries they provide. We instead align ourselves with other government contractors and both pay a market based salary while creating a great work environment as you recognized.
