Pros

good salary SOMETIMES, free coffee, that's it.

Cons

You will never grow in the company (don't believe it when they say you'll grow) toxic environment from the managers to the CEO, end up blaming the lowest payed employees for everything that goes wrong. desperate to hire young people with no experience to pay less and take advantage of their lack of experience and exploit them. You are replaceable and fear every week to be kicked out with no noticed if you don't do above average and work free extra hours to keep them happy.

People are generous with their time, invested in your success, and easy to reach when you need anything from a quick answer to a deeper walkthrough. The role offers considerable autonomy, so feeling comfortable with taking initiative is key.

Pros

The vision and the set of people who did the initial planning and built the base was solid. Some really talented folks.

Cons

No proper execution, really poor coding practices due to just hiring juniors, no mentorship scope because there are no seniors to mentor, no respect / appreciation for people doing good work (they get frustrated and leave the company)
