they gave me good initial break

i joined this company from a much bigger Indian Onsite-Offshore company only to make better rate. Initially the recruiter give me one rate and confirmed. Then his boss, the owner, after confirmation, re-negotiated rate and reduced. That time I had already given resignation in previous company so I had no choice. The owner/President/CEO also did not treat me well. He talks very rash and all he thinks about is his profit, don't care about employee. After he was treating that way, couple of times when I asked him about salary hike, he stopped giving me paystubs thinking I will transfer my H1. Also the rate he told me that he is getting was not correct. i got to know the rate and realized that I need to do something. I found better opportunity and resigned. many times he will make fun of your skills and say, "any fool can do your job". management has not respect or thank you for your work at client site. Also company contribution to health insurance is like kids monthly pocket money. Many people I know are stuck because of Green Card process. I am happy i did not get Green Card processed here. If you are moving from a bigger company like what I did, do full research. do not get trapped. also all employees are only like puppet, only decision maker is president/ceo who does not how to talk. i will never refer anybody to this company. and if i hear of somebody joining, i will warn them.

We did not have any employee who worked at Los Angeles for more than a year and who came from big India company. This is all false allegation. Glassdoor should check W-2 and address on it to verify. ************************************ It seems anyone can write comments on glassdoor and glassdoor allows to do that ***************************

great pay and decent benefits. great exposure to the role for a entry level position

Cons

only hire contractros and the ccompetition to get hired directly by the contracting company is intense. The contracting company also doesnt pay as well as the contractor company does.

Pros

The contract role is interesting and the people at the client company are nice, that’s the only positive thing Dew did, was connect me with them. And I have health insurance, another pro.

Cons

Shady and clueless. I had no idea who they were, had to look them up to make sure they were legit. They submitted my resume after I expressly said do not, I have never signed or agreed to their “Right to Represent”…I never actually spoke to the recruiter, it was all very transactional via email. They don’t care about you as a person/employee at all, they’re just a “body shop” and you’re an asset. I resent that this incredibly lame recruiter is getting a commission for literally doing nothing but sending a resume. This same recruiter has no experience recruiting for my vertical yet was telling me how to prepare for my interviews. Laughable. They also wanted to reduce my hourly rate (after I’d signed the contract) because I was opting in to insurance, separate/in addition to me paying my monthly insurance premiums. Huh? What? I don’t think so… They haven’t once contacted me since starting the assignment to check in. I have shared my thoughts with the client about how awful Dew is from a contractor perspective and that if they want the right kind of candidates in the future, they shouldn’t use Dew.
