Pros

Weekend overtime is voluntary most of the time.

Cons

Inadequate ventilation for removing smoke that fills half the factory, plant manager has near zero experience and tells us to perform extremely dangerous tasks like working on machines while they’re running. We only get a 20minute lunch. In three months 7 people have come and gone in maintenance. Very hazardous work environment, plant manager is going to get another person killed. OSHA and the EPA would have a field day with this place they openly dump oil and paint onto the ground on the backside of the factory. Machinery is in the worst condition I have ever seen in 17 years of this work.

Pros

- Strong exposure to executive-level meetings and strategic decision-making, giving interns meaningful insight into how business priorities are shaped. - Highly collaborative culture across teams and functions, with opportunities to work closely with marketing, sales, product, and other business areas. - Supportive environment that trusts interns with ownership, encourages professional growth, and provides a good balance of independence and guidance. - Open-minded leadership and teams that are receptive to new ideas and value fresh perspectives. - Flexible scheduling and meaningful project work that support both work-life balance and practical MBA-level learning.

Cons

Corporate HQ location may not be ideal, however remote work flexibility helps offset this.
