Pros
As a smaller company generally the work is fast paced and there is plenty of it so always things to keep busy and interesting, Also many roles will need to be filled by a single person so great for gaining experience with many different things. Overall a lot of experience can be gained in the environment.
Cons
The work life balance is not good, many tasks are assigned, and in general it is expected that it all gets done even though there is not enough time. In general extra hours need to be put in to get things done and compensation is not usually given. Management is unclear and unfocused. The decisions are not congruent across different mangers of the company and there is some infighting going which makes the direction fuzzy. Company is somewhat unorganized because the general workload everyone is under.
