Can be pro-family though not always open to extended vacations. If you catch senior management's eye good prospects until the next management change.
Cons
Not working in HQ will keep employees sidelined. Purchases companies to expand business line without willingness to gain an understanding of how the industry works, timelines for projects, product adherence and decisions, and can be impatient for success without sufficient time/presence in a marketplace.
