Pros
Benefits are decent or at least roughly equal to what similar size companies are offering. The tribes and open clubs are nice extra to share info and interests. Work-life balance is okay, I've never had issues booking vacation time, or taking random days off for personal reasons. The projects might be pro or a con, depending on what you land on, you might be working with super interesting cutting edge stuff, or you might find yourself shoveling ton of salt with a 25 year old spoon with a mountain of tech debt looming over your head. The salary is decent and honest instead of the current trend of paying half and the extra is performance based which seems to gain attraction elsewhere. No internal stock purchasing options though.
Cons
Internal tools are really bad, and you cannot do anything about them as it's been decided at higher level that these are what we use. They are slow and painful to use. A lot of the bad managers were kicked off to QT when the companies split, but seems like new seat-fillers have been popping up here and there. Culture and values are advertised as important but they don't actually matter at all in day-to-day work. Bad security practices? Nah, we're not paid to fix that. There is an attempt to provide internal career paths if you want to grow career-wise, but the implementation is a joke and doesn't really work. If you want to change your project, you're stuck browsing the internal job board, which shows the same 5 jobs for 11 months in a row.
