Pros
Casual dress code, great colleagues
Cons
To start off, the pay is disgustingly low. They will take advantage of your inexperience to pay you the lowest possible amount and tell you to never discuss pay with coworkers which is illegal. I know the pay can be better for sure due to how much the clients are charged. The tech stack is old and includes a proprietary undocumented language. The person in charge of the development team is the least technical which doesn't even make sense. No room for promotion or growth. Once you learn the product and code base, you'll be stagnant for the duration of your time here. The benefits are almost non-existent. Just the usual healthcare plans and 401k matching. No bonuses or paternal/maternal leave. Vacation days are very limited and accrued at a rate of 1 day per year and max out at 15 days. Management is terrible. I've never seen a higher turnover rate than this company. I've seen employees get yelled at which should never happen at a company like this no matter the circumstance.
