Pros

Opportunity to help people: As a Telesupport representative, you will have the chance to assist customers with their financial needs and help them achieve their financial goals. This can be a fulfilling experience for those who enjoy helping others. Great work environment: DCU Credit Union Telesupport has a great work culture and environment that values teamwork, communication, and employee engagement. You'll be working with a team of friendly and supportive colleagues who are dedicated to providing excellent customer service. Competitive compensation: The organization offers competitive compensation and benefits packages, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. You'll also have the opportunity for career growth and development.

Cons

High-pressure environment: As a Telesupport representative, you'll be expected to meet performance targets and handle a high volume of calls. This can be stressful for some people, especially those who are new to the role. Shift work: DCU Credit Union Telesupport operates 24/7, which means you may be required to work evening, weekend, or holiday shifts. This can be challenging for those who have other commitments outside of work. Limited autonomy: While the work environment is great, Telesupport representatives are expected to follow strict guidelines and procedures. This can limit autonomy and creativity in finding solutions for customers.

Pros

Honestly there are no pros, you are gaslit into thinking there is.

Cons

Where do I begin? Long hours, terrible work-life balance, outdated systems and procedures, complicated processes and procedures and it makes everything a difficult process for their members, high turnarounds, conflicting information from staff, no one seems to be on the same page, delays, super busy all the time, not enough time or staff to get to everyone, Saturdays are chaotic, no accountability, drama and gossip, fake people, and my favorite, one slight inconvenience and immediately get reported and in trouble with HR. Very manipulative and will gaslight you into thinking you are the wrong one for calling out issues, problems and flaws occurring in branch. And by far the number one thing demonstrated by few staff members, not all, disrespect. Disrespect for management from a few employees. All of this is not worth the paycheck, you will go insane. You’re just supposed to shut up and do your job.
