Pros
You can have a lot of fun while you work with a team, and sometimes you get to work on some pretty cool stuff. They also only promote from within so there’s a lot of potential for climbing the ladder.
Cons
If you don’t fit in to the inner circle you get passed over. The pay is pretty good, but it’s 50 plus hours a week. You have to use limited vacation days if you aren’t going to hit at least 40 hours as a full time employee. The store manager position is where you can make really good money, but a lot of people will never get promoted to that level. If you make a sort of big mistake, you may not lose your job or get into too much trouble; however your likelihood of receiving any significant promotions significantly dwindles.
