Discover is a fantastic company to work with. Every department manager and team leader I've worked for has been very accessible and responsive. The company takes employee feedback seriously. I love the extra incentives, like the swag bags, lunches, nachos, and the rest of the stuff management does to keep it fun and fresh. This is the company to work for. Lots of promotion from within, and plenty of opportunity to move departments until you find the right place. Pay is decent. You can make really good money between the base pay and bonuses.
Cons
Working with the public can be difficult. They have this not so delightful position called flex-time. Most start out on flex. You'll be scheduled to work three Saturday or Sunday per month, with a random day off during the week and varied start times. 39 hours a week is the max, and 32 hours the min. Flex schedules aren't released more than 3 weeks in advance.
