I enjoyed every day at Discovery. The people were very nice and always willing to lend a hand or help you develop. Ownership really takes care of their people, and in addition to very generous scheduled bonuses, they would also hand out bonus checks that we had no idea were coming. There was more work available than time to complete it, and the projects were interesting and always a unique experience compared to previous builds. They give you all the technology you need to succeed, in my case top of the line macbook and the iPhone 6s+ the day it came out. The corporate office is very informal which really fostered a team approach where everyone was on equal footing. Executives did not differentiate themselves from the rest of us, and they were easily accessible and had open door policies. It was really a family. Lots of laughter & great relationships. Awesome Xmas parties.
