Cons
This once great company is experiencing a major fall from grace. The green C level doesn’t even understand the basics of how to run an A/V integration business. Even worse is the incompetent upper management team. Between the simple mistakes, in-fighting, and laziness they couldn’t successfully manage a Burger King night shift. Anyone writing a book on how to destroy a business should interview these clowns, and ask them about their daily routine. The employees, customers, and everyone who knows anything about this company can easily see that it’s being run into the ground. Customer satisfaction is a thing of the past, and customer relationships mean nothing to these people. Employees are treated like a number, and have no input into the markets that they have grown before Diversified swooped in to acquire them. If you are thinking of selling to them, do your homework. They destroy every business they buy. Gut the managers, get rid of 75% of the staff. Lose the customers to local competitors, and use what’s left to service their pre existing customers. The founder was the only person who cared about any of it, and the VC company put him out to pasture, because all they care about is growing bigger than their closest competitor. Yet they never seem to get there. Everyone at the top of this organization is from outside of the A\V industry. They simply don’t understand the industry, and have a proven track record of failure. Do yourself and your family a favor and find a different A\V integrator to work for.
