You will and can get good EMT experience out of the position, if you want to practice skills; however, if you want to be lazy and just clock in and clock out, that’s also possible.

You need to stand your ground on making safety decisions, because you will be pushed to "just try" when situations could become dangerous to yourself, partner, or patient.
