Pros

It's a great starting place for anyone who wants to step their foot into the banking world.

Cons

Nepotism, the only way to get a promotion is if you know someone very well on the personal side. The pay is poor (I made more working at other major retail stores with less hours and less responsibilities., Management and Regional Management points out all your flaws and wrong doing before they (even if they even do) point out your success stories..Management and higher management does not even follow their own rules or polices. which makes suing them that much easier. (in process) and there is so many harassment that are being done in branch management that get ignored.

Pros

So far everything has been a Pro, total teamwork! Everyone is so kind and so helpful. My experience has been nothing but wonderful. My management team and coworkers are the best. They only seem to want the best for you and if you want to move up or go in a different direction, they are more than happy to help you!!! The training is great and very thorough!!!

Cons

I have not had any cons so far!!!

Pros

Plenty of opportunity at dollar for growing your knowledge and experience. Leadership does care about their people and there is a a fair bit of access to executive management. Benefits are pretty good with insurance, gym reimbursement, 401k match and other things.

Cons

Performance incentives are sorely lacking here. If you are a high performer, you get the same performance incentive distributed into your 401k as someone who is average. Management also has a track record of adding responsibilities but not necessarily increasing compensation. The other main item is that the majority of employees have started and stayed at dollar. Coming in externally with difference experiences can be challenging.
