Pros

* Average pay and benefits * Team work is encouraged * Bonus incentives for Store Managers and higher

Cons

* Ridiculous amount of hours. Most Store Managers work a minimum of 50 hours per week, unless they are one the managers that just don't care about their job or their company * Hard to have a family life when employed by this company * A never-ending task list each day/week/month/etc. You are constantly in a state of being behind

Pros

None. This is the worst company I've ever worked for. The pay is not commeasurate with the amount of work that you were expected to do. Dollar General runs their stores on skeleton crews and each person is expected to do the work of 3 to four people.

Cons

Everything. From dealing with incredibly rude customers, to the pay, to the workload and everything in between. Again, this is the worst company that I have ever worked for and I've definitely had my fair share of jobs in my lifetime.
