Pros

Growth opportunity, fun products, merchandising freedom, ability to be creative, company encourages training and promoting within, benefits, stock discounts, profit sharing, 401k match, monthly bonus, make own schedule.

Cons

Constant change and addition of tasks and assignments on top of already busy workloads but never extra ppayroll. Only have good payroll arou d holidays, high volume stores get more payroll but still never enough to take care of the store, customers are pigs and destroy the stores and open everything, steal everything and you're responsible for that shrink.

Pros

I enjoyed working at Dollar Tree because it allowed me to lead a team, help develop associates, and make a difference in my store. I liked the fast-paced environment and the variety of challenges that came with running daily operations. The experience helped me grow as a manager, strengthen my problem-solving skills, and build great relationships with both my team and customers.

Cons

The biggest challenges were limited staffing, heavy workloads, and a lack of support from the district level when issues arose. PTO requests were often denied due to business needs, which made it difficult to achieve a good work-life balance. While these challenges could be frustrating at times.
