Pros

None it's hard to have pros about a company that does not care about the health of the employees at all

Cons

Unbelievable work expectations min 100 cashier hrs 95asst manager hrs a truck by their standards 120 hrs to work it 45 hrs recovery 360 total that's not counting reset's that need done or daily activities such as frozen you are lucky if you are given 200 hrs to get it all done if you don't Your not doing your job and are in trouble most of us spend so much time at work at an hourly rate we make less than minimum wage you think they would take better care of the employees since the store is where all of the money is made to provide all their high salary's it's a law suit waiting to happen just like happened to d g they care so little I have a friend who is a store manager who got hurt and had to have surgery was told 6 to 8 wks of recovery and physical therapy had surgery Friday morning and was harassed all weekend and made to come back to work Mon morning to keep his assistant from getting o t went to therapy once something always came to force her to cancel the next appt another law suit in the works now she is looking at another surgery to repair damage caused by returning to work and no therapy

Pros

Working at Dollar Tree provided valuable hands-on leadership experience across every aspect of retail operations. I strengthened my skills in inventory management, merchandising, freight planning, staffing, customer service, compliance, and operational execution. The fast-paced environment challenged me to think quickly, prioritize effectively, and develop my team while delivering results. The relationships I built with my associates and customers were by far the most rewarding part of the job.

Cons

The workload often exceeded the labor hours provided, making it challenging to consistently meet operational expectations. Store managers were frequently expected to handle multiple responsibilities while working with lean staffing levels. Facility and equipment issues sometimes took longer than expected to resolve, and support from upper management could be inconsistent. While the job offered valuable experience, maintaining work-life balance could be difficult during peak freight and seasonal periods.
