Pros
Your experience will be based on the type of store manager you have. I had a great store manager the first time I worked here. Second time, that was not the case.
Cons
-Told them that I had never held a management position, and they gave it to me anyways. Yet, they offered ZERO formal training. -District manager is crazy. I was told that the reasons why the stores get so little hours is because district managers get a bonus if they don't give out extra. -I was LIED on TWICE by the store manager and district manager. -The person that finds the fault is always wrong. I would point things out and then turn around and be blamed for the cause. Unreal. I guess we're just supposed to keep straight and don't observe. -No steady flow of communication. No meetings and when I tried to contact the district manager, she would be non compliant 90% of the time. -Store manager would act like she was on my side one minute, then the next minute she would completely lose her temper towards me, telling me to "get off her clock and go home". I would remind her that she said I was doing an excellent job last week...so what is really the issue? She, like so many others there, have a huge issue with accountability. She made the schedule and was constantly displaying poor planning skills. -Store manager had her brother working at the store and would not let me reprimand him. She would also let him go home early, schedule me to come in and then tell me to stay home making me miss a day of work, and then look at me crazy on truck day when the storage room was a mess.
