It is a rewarding, albeit demanding position, so thank you for your dedication. Regarding feedback after not receiving a promotion, that is never a great feeling and I am sorry that was your expereince. All leaders are encouraged to provide as much detail as possible when explaining their promotion/hiring decisions, however if you are looking for more information you can always reach out to your HR representative. They, along with your leader, should be able to provide more of an explanation. That being said, don't give up!
