      Pros

      The pay is good for the area. It is the only reason anyone works here. The schedule is terrible if you want any sort of life.

      Cons

      The schedule is terrible. It is swing shift and it is only separated with a day or two to make the day night shift adjustment. Everyone is like zombies because it is impossible to sleep very well.

      Pros

      Close knit excellent maintenance teams that seem to do the impossible with the amount of understaffing over the years. Couldn't ask for a better place or people to work with. I have loved my time at this mill. Domtar has no idea at the quality of the institution\people that they are casting off into the abyss.

      Cons

      The corporation as a whole I am not a fan of. It seems they acquired Resolute FP to strategically dismantle it. They have closed several of the RFP mills and Coosa Pines an absolute institution that has been the backbone of the community for over 75 years is the next on the chopping block in May 2026.
