      Pros

      Money good,good co workers, if everybody can click and have multiple talents when the knowledge is needed you don't get the deer in the headlight look from your boss who knows how to run his mouth to the wrong people

      Cons

      Area bosses are puppets and tell the big guy exactly what they want to hear. Too many contractors working in the mill when we are short in production and maintenance. Bosses get a bonus where in my mind 4 or 5 out of 70 deserve them. Production works 24/7 and bosses get mad when they have to make a trip in on a "day off" very few dedicated and caring salary people. 90+% live out of town and are not dedicated

      Pros

      Close knit excellent maintenance teams that seem to do the impossible with the amount of understaffing over the years. Couldn't ask for a better place or people to work with. I have loved my time at this mill. Domtar has no idea at the quality of the institution\people that they are casting off into the abyss.

      Cons

      The corporation as a whole I am not a fan of. It seems they acquired Resolute FP to strategically dismantle it. They have closed several of the RFP mills and Coosa Pines an absolute institution that has been the backbone of the community for over 75 years is the next on the chopping block in May 2026.
