Pros

Working from home now and gym reimbursement... THAT'S IT!!

Cons

Everything! If you like working for a hostile work environment then this is the place for you! Doordash is literally a joke and is starting to become the butt of many jokes in the industry. The fact that the CEO treats his employees like cattle instead of hard working employees is just sad. Well unless you are a exsecutive then you get million dollar bonuses while the rest of us pions get an 8 to 10 dollar bonus while we are the ones doing the real work. Now for the position Merchant Experience Partner... Never in my life have a felt so disrespected! I took a pay cut to come here thinking there will be many opportunities but no... Rather what you get is a bunch of inexperienced supervisors, managers and directors trying to tell you what to do when you know more than them. When you provide constructive feedback they take it as an insult and try to retaliate against you. Not to mention the keep adding more and more work on your plate so that you end up working passed your agreed schedule of 9 to 5 that is on your contract. The claim " no one is forcing you to stay passed 5" but if you don't get your work done by EOD you'll be written up and possibly fired. I don't think they understand the more late I stay the more my pay is diluted and i'm not okay with that since this company doesn't give bonuses. STAY CLEAR AWAY FROM THIS SINKING SHIP!!!

Pros

If you are considering working with this platform, be aware that the management model is built on deliberate ambiguity. The app and software are designed to keep you in a constant state of uncertainty regarding your performance metrics. There is no transparency regarding how jobs are assigned or how your work is actually evaluated. This appears to be a calculated strategy to keep workers chasing 'better status' without ever providing a clear path to achieve it. You will never know if you are truly meeting expectations because the system is intentionally opaque. Approach with caution if you value transparency and clear communication.

Cons

The supposed 'flexibility' of this role is actually a double-edged sword. While the platform advertises freedom, it functions as a lack of structure and support. Because the performance metrics are intentionally opaque, the 'independence' of the job feels more like isolation. You are left guessing if your efforts are actually valued or just another input in an algorithm that doesn't prioritize worker success.
