Pros

Cross functional partners are very collaborative, work team is great, overall smart people are hired, good benefits, mission driven, good company values, learn lots of new skills, become a self starter to affect change

Cons

Management is highly focused on growing top-line, operating cost centers must work more to support top line with no additional headcount/funds to support them, accounting functions overly burdened with manual work processes and broken systems/tools (and failed automation attempts) and poor upstream processes, software tools are not consistently used by all teams which causes challenges in working with data, lack of accounting leadership support to effectively perform in your role

Pros

If you are considering working with this platform, be aware that the management model is built on deliberate ambiguity. The app and software are designed to keep you in a constant state of uncertainty regarding your performance metrics. There is no transparency regarding how jobs are assigned or how your work is actually evaluated. This appears to be a calculated strategy to keep workers chasing 'better status' without ever providing a clear path to achieve it. You will never know if you are truly meeting expectations because the system is intentionally opaque. Approach with caution if you value transparency and clear communication.

Cons

The supposed 'flexibility' of this role is actually a double-edged sword. While the platform advertises freedom, it functions as a lack of structure and support. Because the performance metrics are intentionally opaque, the 'independence' of the job feels more like isolation. You are left guessing if your efforts are actually valued or just another input in an algorithm that doesn't prioritize worker success.
