Pros

Not long ago it was excellent- I live in a small city just outside of Edmonton and it was great. I could sign up for shifts in advance, choose my orders, and I had a 4.8 Star review.

Cons

Now the zone is flooded with too many drivers, most don't live in town, and they're driving for three apps at once or using more than one account, so no one is getting good service. This gives the good drivers a bad name - not that we can even get shifts anymore... and if you do, you have to take most of what's offered, regardless of the garbage $3 - no-tip orders, or you won't get ANY orders for hours.

Pros

If you are considering working with this platform, be aware that the management model is built on deliberate ambiguity. The app and software are designed to keep you in a constant state of uncertainty regarding your performance metrics. There is no transparency regarding how jobs are assigned or how your work is actually evaluated. This appears to be a calculated strategy to keep workers chasing 'better status' without ever providing a clear path to achieve it. You will never know if you are truly meeting expectations because the system is intentionally opaque. Approach with caution if you value transparency and clear communication.

Cons

The supposed 'flexibility' of this role is actually a double-edged sword. While the platform advertises freedom, it functions as a lack of structure and support. Because the performance metrics are intentionally opaque, the 'independence' of the job feels more like isolation. You are left guessing if your efforts are actually valued or just another input in an algorithm that doesn't prioritize worker success.
