Pros

You will learn a lot about gear motors if you don’t already. Allows you to be hands on with the final product. You get to see a lot of different applications in which you can alter standard product The right people will help guide from previous experiences they have seen from the product.

Cons

Expected to work from home even if you put the same amount of time in at work as those that leave early and work from home. The busy time can be very grueling. Not able to really try out design ideas due to short time lines for projects Management is very wish wash. If you don’t fit in with the management you will notice. They are all about on time metrics. They say don’t feel like you have to work extensive hours or that it has to be perfect. But they will back track on that statement real quick behind closed doors.

Pros

Most of the people are great to work with

Cons

Dorner used to be about providing a good product and taking care of the customer, the rest took care of itself. Now it is about month, quarter or year end financials. Squeezing everything they can out of you, and a inferior product for the customer.
