Pros

Tips on cabs for £1.00 a cab booked by the reception team. Decent food for the staff although a bit repetitive.

Cons

Handling all the luggage by stage, no real night or late porter present if at all. Sometimes finishing shift past 1am in the morning and not being paid extra for overtime done at all. Difficult guests and rude reception staff in general towards guests. Not caring team and no real sense of teamwork ethics at all. Team not doing their duties properly as needed and leaving it for other team members to pick up!!!.

Pros

Benefits and employee meals were great. My team and people I worked with was the reason I stayed.

Cons

Leadership doesn't value or support their managers. Just be prepared to receive little support from corporate and a company as a whole. They don't want operations managers to succeed and rather run through options creating instability for their employees. Expectations constantly change. Favortism runs through departments that starts from the top (GM). Worst experience of my life was deciding to become a manager. Also as a operations manager they don't care about work life balance or if your working over 10 hours. Get use to long hours in operations with no support or help.
