Managing up has its limitations. You will find yourself confronted with hands-off management on a daily basis and you will be in for the most frustrating experience of your career. Have a look at the guests complaints on Trip Advisor, those are dead-end issues that will never be addressed. However, you won't see any of this if you are new to management or to the industry, which is exactly the kind of employees they are looking for. Take your experience somewhere else.
