Pros

Out of India, Dover’s work culture is great. Work/life balance is very good.

Cons

I have been working at Dover Corporation full-time for more than 4 years in Software division Managers are not good, always playing politics with technical persons. Many managers don’t have good technical skill, they cannot guide team properly. If any technical problem comes, engineers have to be suffered. Managers are not sending people to Onsite for long term. Only short term onsite facility available for Indian engineers, and sometime managers used to take this opportunity. Career growing opportunity is very less for fresher. No chance to learn new technology. There are very less technically strong people present in Bangalore branch. Many time projects are suffering due to bad team politics.

Pros

Consistent focus on the employee experience, service to customers, and shareholder value. Our values are integrated into hiring, performance management, and leadership development. Locations all over the world.

Cons

As a corporate employee, supporting all OpCos, it's very complex... never a boring day.

Pros

Benefits were nice if you were aware of them and used them up year after year. People were generally nice.

Cons

No growth. A lot of people had been in their current positions forever and Promotions came when people quit at DPC. Usually most jobs have no career upward mobility and don't think about professional development opportunities like conference, seminars or training. There were rarely budgets for those. Company recently released a version of LinkedIn learning after growing feedback (a few years) on professional development
