Pros

Business model seems to be decent.

Cons

Joining this startup is the most regrettable decision I made in my life. I was the first batch of engineers joined the company. Almost all the first batch of my colleagues left or laid off within 9 months which is very surprising for a small startup. Here are some reasons to avoid the company: Two of our colleagues need to take days off (the company provide unlimited PTO according to the contract). They told the CEO ten days before they taking off. The CEO just ignored it. Just one day before their PTO, the CEO sent a message to them saying that "not sure if you're taking an off on Tuesday and Wednesday as well, if you are I will be disappointed..." And because it was too late to rearrange the plan, our colleagues still need to take off. One of them are fired that day. Ironically, the day before he was fired was his birthday and we cellerbrated his bday and the CEO gave him a card. For development perspective, the founders can barely do anything about development. They expect the engineers to solve everything even that is impossible. If the engineer cannot do that they would give the engineer a "feedback" session to blame the engineer. Also every his task will be delayed and eventually that task will be sent to one of us. And if we delayed the task they will give you a feedback session. There are many other examples to show how bad the company is. Just avoid this company.

Pros

Remote first work! This allows for a culture of less silos within offices where remote workers can feel left out. Highly agile company. Everyone leans in and works hard and fast to solve problems. The culture at Doxel allows for its employees to be their true selves.

Cons

No 401k match Higher levels of travel depending on the role

Pros

I joined Doxel straight out of college as an SDR and have since grown into an Account Executive role, this is largely because the company consistently invests in its people and promotes from within rather than looking externally to fill key roles. That commitment to internal growth has been a defining part of my experience here. Throughout my time at Doxel, I’ve watched the company scale and mature, and what’s impressed me most is that our culture has never wavered during that growth. Every day, I get to work alongside incredibly talented and successful individuals. That energy is contagious, and it’s played a huge role in accelerating my own career development. I’ve always felt strongly incentivized through competitive and continually improving compensation plans, and I’ve yet to hit a plateau thanks to leadership’s focus on internal investment and long-term development. On top of that, I’ve been given amazing opportunities to travel, build a lasting professional network, and gain exposure well beyond what I expected early in my career. If you’re looking for a fast-growing company that genuinely supports career progression, values its people, and maintains a strong culture as it scales, Doxel is a great place to be.

Cons

Fully remote. We meet up quarterly and have offices around the U.S., but more in-person time with the team would be a plus.
