Pros
I've worked at Doxel for over 4 months and so far, here are the things I love: * Openness: Information (good and bad news) is openly shared. This makes it easy to see the big picture, cause and effect, of everyone's little efforts. * Autonomy and support: Everyone is clear on the goal we want to achieve as a team. Nobody has the time to micromanage. However, the support system is amazing when you need it. The level of trust and support among my colleagues inspire me to perform at my best. * Corrective (not punitive) measures when things don't go as planned: When a mistake is made, everyone is not interested in what we, as a team, learn from it. Not who made the mistake (or punishments) * Commitment to personal improvement: Doxel managers (or at least mine) care about personal growth and constantly check in to ensure the work we do is challenging enough to keep us growing in the directions we want. * Sensitivity to work-life balance: As a startup, there's a lot to do. Things change really quickly. However everyone is conscious of this and we try to schedule deadlines and deliverables with this in mind. * Culture & Values: No end justify means that don't follow company values. Since these align personally with my life philosophy I appreciate it.
Cons
Things change quickly. It gets intense. The best part of this is the fact that these changes are communicated as early as possible, alongside the reason for the change(s).
