Pros

It's an 80% remote position.

Cons

Everything else? The Owner and his ego are the two biggest issues this company has. He's combative, negative, disrespectful, misogynistic, and downright rude. He always has to have the last word - even on topics for which he hired other individuals because of their experience. He spoke down to women WHO WERE TRYING TO HELP HIM at meetings he had requested to further his product to meet their needs. Additionally, he continuously gives contradictory priorities and information at recurring meetings. Moving products and services forward when the head of the company continually changes his mind is frustrating at best. I would strongly advise anyone considering DragonFly to not just walk, but run in the opposite direction. Oh, and the "positive" reviews? Most of them were posted on the very same day and list almost identical "cons"...

Pros

Remote work, fairly flexible hours

Cons

Almost nothing but cons for this company. It was probably a fun, scrappy startup 15 years ago, but it never learned to grow up. Stay far away. There is no salary DragonFly can offer you that will make all the many negatives worth it. They make promises to fix things and make them better, but the root issue is the one that will never be fixed: the micromanaging, unpredictable, unfocused, and undisciplined founder. The product itself has a lot of potential and the team could accomplish a lot if the founder would get out of his own way, but he lacks the focus and discipline to do so. My entire time at the company he was unable to accomplish any of the goals that were "top priority" - he was unable to move the company to achieve a single objective he had despite the majority of the staff being replaced or otherwise leaving, but he still points fingers at the staff. If you want professionalism, stability, a good culture, comprehensive benefits, a path towards growth in your career, or even delivering a decent product - look somewhere else. P.S. - carefully look at the positive reviews here and notice how many were apparently coordinated to be written around the same date. Take from that what you will.
