Pros
Really brilliant folks who are always willing to share their knowledge and collaborate. Big names in the industry (and on Twitter) but zero egos from anyone. Unlike most startups, the end goal isn't money machine go brrrr - the underlying mission really drives folks to care about what they're building. Management and leadership listen when problems are raised and actually try to fix things (or empower employees to do so) instead of a lot of talk or dismissing issues. Leadership sets a good example of working toward work/life balance and encourages people to take a minimum of 3 weeks off a year. There's no punishment for taking PTO or parental/caregiver leave. Unlimited time off, 100% distributed, decent benefits, 401k, excellent stock options plan, salary transparency, and fantastic pay.
Cons
Remote culture can be improved, but folks are working on it. The company has grown quickly so sometimes it's easy to miss new hires and departures.
