Pros
Been working here for almost 4 years and it's one of the best experiences of my career so far,I will try and summarise it for an outsider if you currently being interviewed at Dragos or wanting an insider view. Culture HUGE focus on culture and culture fit mentality towards a mission, when I joined the whole culture topic did not resonate considering all my previous experiences. As I got more involved and understood how promoting a positive workspace culture that contributes to both personal development and Dragos's success is something worth sticking around for, fostering this culture is not just an HR initiative(which is often confused by), but it's really the fabric that creates a connection through us (employees) and Dragos and create an alignment towards the success of the mission. People & Leadership Executive's approachability is very common at Dragos that allowed everyone to approach executives without barriers encouraging open and transparent feedback. Client's engagement Being in a client's facing role I got to see immediately how critical infrastructure operators are able to connect with the team through partnership/guidance.Its very apparent once you join Dragos you will quickly realizing this is not another "IT cybersecurity vendor claiming expertise in OT" and there's value by the Dragos technology , people and solutions provided, that's a unique position to be in and for anyone to get exposure to.
Cons
People & Leadership Unfortunately in few occasions transparency in leadership involves executives being open about decisions, rationale, and company direction which allows opportunity for debates based on opinions/personal views on company’s directions by a larger audience, As I believe Dragos is strongly promoting transparency and candid feedback, there also should be a balance on what/when to share. Pay, Compensation & Career development Worth not that starting salaries/packages are very attractive, however advancement opportunities and annual raises is not always reflecting contributions or market movements, I believe recognition scheme/program whether in the form of raises or bonuses needs to be place to be better aligned with high-performing employees.
