Pros
- Relaxed work environment. - Management does not micromanage projects, gives employees freedom to do their job. - Hard workers will occasionally get rewarded. Management does notice when employees go above and beyond.
Cons
- High amount of turnover. The company is focused solely on client retention, at times not taking into account their employees’ hard work. - Lack of communication between management and employees, and at times teams and their team leaders. - Pay for amount of work/time put in. A reasonable amount of (unpaid) overtime is expected, but some employees are working 60+ hours a week, regularly. - Lack of training. Employees are “trained” for a day or two, and then thrown in to the mix to sink or swim. A lot of people have to figure things out for themselves as they go, rather than being trained to do their job correctly to begin with. - Lack of vacation time. Employees become noticeably burned out. - Management plays favorites.
