Pros
Great Team and Coworkers: Despite the company's shortcomings, my team and coworkers were amazing to work with. They made the job bearable and created a supportive environment.
Cons
Low Pay and No Raises: Drive Social Media offered extremely low pay with no hope of ever receiving a raise. The lack of financial compensation made it difficult to feel valued as an employee. Toxic Culture: Gossip ran rampant within the company, creating a toxic atmosphere. It was evident that there were clear favorites among the leadership, leading to a lack of fairness and transparency. Unprofessional Leadership: The leadership at Drive Social Media was consistently unprofessional, often being intoxicated at work events. This behavior set a poor example and contributed to a lack of respect within the company. Limited Opportunities for Growth: Despite claims of opportunity for growth, the reality was quite different. Promotions were rare, and it seemed that advancement within the company was nearly impossible. Ineffective CEO: The CEO, Josh Sample, lacked effective leadership skills. His behavior and lack of direction contributed to the overall dysfunction within the company. Absolutely zero WFH days, unless your leadership you can stroll into the office at any point of the day.
