Pros

-It's good networking, and the pay is reasonable -Good chance for promotion -The people you work with are the reason you stay -Your resume will look amazing after you leave, and you'll be able to take on any job with ease. It's almost like a bootcamp -You will have fun at times

Cons

-It's a typical churn and burn operation. The front entrance to the office is a revolving door, so there will always be extra work as a reward for working efficiently. -There's good opportunity for promotion because whomever is in the position now will probably quit soon. -They seem to primarily hire young people straight out of college so they likely won't know any better how a company should run and wont advocate for themselves. -They are a-okay with racism and sexism even though they market themselves differently. -They'll pressure you to make reviews as a current employee to counter real experiences but won't actually implement things that'll make doing your job easier. Then they'll take the time to blame you for whatever shortcomings the company has. -Forget work-life balance. You will work over 9-hour days on most days without a break, because they schedule meetings over every opportunity to do real work. and they won't like it when you take your entitled break anyway. You get vacation days, but they'll be upset when you take those too. -They change protocols constantly, so you never feel like you know how to do everything. -When you do learn how to do something new, they'll want you to be an expert at that same thing 2 minutes later. -Management is sensitive and needs an ego stroke every hour. HR is unhelpful to employees. - Generally, not a good place if you have a working moral compass; but it is marketing so moral compasses are not required.

Pros

Great team culture with constant peer support, making the role low-stress and collaborative. Hitting goals feels rewarding, especially when it leads to client satisfaction and bonus opportunities. Plus, the flexible work-from-home setup, strong leadership, and overall positive environment make it an enjoyable place to work.

Cons

Heavy workload at times, which can feel fast-paced, but it keeps the day moving and makes the work more engaging. Like many marketing roles, priorities can shift quickly, so staying organized and adaptable is important.

Pros

Local team was awesome and supportive. Only thing that kept me there for longer than 2 weeks.

Cons

Corporate leadership created a culture of constant micromanagement. Employees were regularly called “lazy” during company-wide meetings and singled out in front of everyone. No matter how well you performed or how far above quota you were, there was always another metric to criticize. Work-life balance was practically nonexistent. 60-hour work weeks were not uncommon nor was being expected to work Saturdays. It wasn’t uncommon to receive texts on weekends criticizing activity metrics or demanding more. It felt like you were expected to be available seven days a week. The role was also far more stressful than advertised. Corporate leadership repeatedly described it as a “low-stress sales job,” but the short sales cycle and constant pressure made it anything but. Metrics are set extremely high and even when you do hit them they will ask you why you aren’t doing more. Employee turnover was extremely high, and despite calling itself a marketing agency, the company felt much more like a sales organization where hitting activity metrics and bringing in new clients took priority over everything else. If you don’t mind an extremely high-pressure, micromanaged sales environment, this may be a fit. If you value work-life balance, autonomy, and leadership that trusts high performers, I would look elsewhere.
