Cons
- Absolutely no work/life balance. This job will actually negatively affect your family and personal relationships. - This company claims to have specific values (family owned, care about their employees, promote from within). Despite stating that those are some of their values, it's clear that they are no different from another company that only cares about profits and their cutting expenses (mainly labor - which causes management to cover hourly positions). - Require a minimum of 10 hours worked per day for managers, but 12-13 hour days are the norm. - Upper management's response to not hitting service benchmarks is suggesting you put in more hours, and work 5 and 1/2 days per week until visible changes occur at the property - Chronically short staffed - the company determines the wages for hourly team members from their corporate office and does not allow changes from managers, making it hard to hire new hourly team due to not having a competitive wage offered. - It is easy to become burnt out working for this company
