Pros

Benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, vacation time). If these things are important to you, this company offers a pretty good package for its full time employees.

Cons

If you accept a "management" role in one of their hotels, understand that this is only a title. Drury practices some of the tightest, almost inhumane labor standards I've ever experienced in my life. They purposely run their hotels extremely short-staffed and exploit their salaried managers by making them pick up the slack. Come to work in a suit and tie and participate in some of the most back breaking labor you have ever experienced. You can go from working as the breakfast cook, to housekeeper to front desk staff all in one day. I understand that as a member of management you will have to role up your sleeves and jump in from time to time. However, this is a typical "day in the life" for a Drury hotel manager. If you are ok with this, go for it. If you are not ok with breaking a sweat in your suit and tie most days, then stay away. This company made me question why I even bothered going to college most days.
