Pros

Good salary, Benefits, and Vacation.

Cons

This company was great 15 years ago. Not a very entrepreneurial work environment, and the management structure is very dated. The culture is old-school, and people fear being punished if they admit a mistake. The company doesn't provide any social events to the employees. Now, everyone doesn't want to start a job for fear that they can't finish something. The work environment is very draining and inefficient. Giving 110% doesn't get appreciated unless you have a Degree from an ivy-league school. Boring jobs are given to very smart employees fresh out of college. The get stuck in a job with limiting scope that doesn't prepare them for the real world if they get downsized.

Pros

Great people, strong commitment to safety, competitive pay and benefits, and excellent work-life balance. The company provides opportunities to work on meaningful projects with talented cross-functional teams, and there is a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. Flexible work arrangements and supportive managers (depending on the organization) make it a great place to build a long-term career.

Cons

Frequent organizational changes and restructuring can create uncertainty, and decision-making can be slowed by bureaucracy. Career growth opportunities may be limited in some organizations, and employees can become siloed or feel disconnected depending on the role and team.
