Pros

Great values, great products, great work-life balance, excellent offices in many countries, very clear mission statement, clear annual review process. The company emphasizes stability and sustainability over immediate profit and in most cases truly sticks to its value, especially safety. 0 is the goal. If you have necessary key competencies for your level, can navigate thick political waters, and have PATIENCE to wait for your chance - you should do well in this company.

Cons

- LOTs of politics. LOTs. - Collective thinking that leads to countless hours of phone calls and non-objections. While this is good for ethics, it kills initiative as it's easier to keep it quiet. - One needs a 'sponsor' to progress higher once you are at certain level. - Most managers spend insufficient time for employee development - this works much better at the lower level.

Pros

Great people, strong commitment to safety, competitive pay and benefits, and excellent work-life balance. The company provides opportunities to work on meaningful projects with talented cross-functional teams, and there is a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. Flexible work arrangements and supportive managers (depending on the organization) make it a great place to build a long-term career.

Cons

Frequent organizational changes and restructuring can create uncertainty, and decision-making can be slowed by bureaucracy. Career growth opportunities may be limited in some organizations, and employees can become siloed or feel disconnected depending on the role and team.
