Pros
Salaries are somewhat higher than market average. Plenty international travel opportunities, many internal training. In smaller regions more autonomy and degree of freedom to make decissions without involving too many people.
Cons
Top down management style, very politically driven organization. Chaotic decissions. In larger regions too many people involved to make a simple decission yet no personal accountability amongst the mid management. Definitely not a place for initiative and entrepreneural individuals. It often felt as if DuPont employees in France, Belgium, Germany, The Netherlands and many developing regions had lost their motivation and direction. Very dependent on the manager's personality. More pragmatic - lucky you are to work with; more corporate politics - a guaranteed deterioration.
