Pros
Great focus on core values and a really helpful and collaborative environment. DuPont has a very strong culture and you are very quickly a part of a family that looks out for each other. They do have some winning potential in the agriculture and industrial biosciences sector and those are the best areas to join.
Cons
Do not expect to complete anything of even medium risk in anything less than 1 to 2 years. If you are ambitious, driven and hungry to make a difference and see results, this is not the company to satisfy those needs. A very comfortable and conservative middle management team that struggles to make any decisions that can move the dial for the key projects that really matter. "Over-collaboration" (if there is such a word) is the norm and the expected way of working, to the point where it seems like you are just contributing to a very wheel that is moving ever so slowly. There is a large community of near-retirement employees across many groups (this is entirely a reality and not a judgement) so you need to understand this affects the decision-making and risk profile of the organisation.
